Calls to improve Highway-63 reached a breaking point in late April when a head-on collision claimed seven lives. In June, local MLA, Mike Allen, delivered a report to the premier highlighting 22 recommendations for the dangerous stretch of highway - including proposals to speed up the pace of twinning.
