Alberta MP Rona Ambrose sparked outrage for voting “yea” on a motion to explore when human life begins. The motion was defeated by 203 “nays”, could have re-opened the legal abortion debate.
Critics say Ambrose's vote contradicts her commitment as Minister for the Status of Women.
