Pipeline Employment Potential?

Northern Gateway hearings started up again this week in British Columbia and continue over the next several months, the Alberta Federation of Labour says the hearings in our province were telling and they fear the pipeline would drain lucrative refining jobs from our province.

Energy experts maintain that the pipeline to the west is necessary in order to get top dollar for our oil from higher paying Asian markets.

Will the Northern Gateway create jobs and economic prosperity in our province or are we setting ourselves up to shortchange our resource revenue?
