Justin Trudeau’s Liberal Leadership Bid

Original Air Date: Wednesday, October 03, 2012

Just one day after announcing his charge for the federal liberal leadership, Justin Trudeau touched down in Alberta.

Speaking for nearly an hour, Trudeau accused the Harper government and opposition NDP of using Canada's natural wealth to divide the country, saying it was the wrong way to govern in the past.

What will it take for the liberal leadership candidate to overcome his late father's legacy of the National Energy Program? How will Albertans respond to this latest wave of Trudeau-mania?

We speak with Jen Gerson, Calgary correspondent for the National Post.
