Burning Concerns Over Municipal Emergency Medical Services

Alberta’s first responders have become so frustrated with the province's multi-year plan to take over emergency medical services from municipalities, they’re going public - again.

The annual Alberta Urban Municipalities Association convention heard concerns that imposing one system on every community just won't work.  Delegates were also told the province is not listening to feedback from first responders and municipal authorities.

We speak with Brian Cornforth, President of the Alberta Fire Chiefs Association and Chief of Lethbridge Fire Department.
