Regulations for Coal-Fired Power Plants

Environmentalists say the federal government has backed off pollution limits proposed for coal fired power plants and the new rules are too soft.

Alberta relies on the so-called dirty power more than other provinces. Coal-fired power producers say they must have emissions targets that still allow them to meet growing demand or it will cost consumers too much
