The fourth work stoppage for the NHL in two decades is underway and wider impacts are now expected. From the health of the league itself to jobs in hospitality and merchandising, the effect on minor leagues and the momentum of our Flames and Oilers.  

How long could the lockout last? Has the league forgotten about those who count on hockey?

We speak with Dan Mason is a Sports Business Professor with the University of Alberta; and Arun Lakra, the Calgary creator of the Lockout Song.
