Remembering Jack Layton

This has been a week of memorials across the country - Canadians reflecting on the life and accomplishments of Jack Layton.  It was one year ago this week the former NDP leader died after a battle with cancer.

In the months since, the party has carried on as the official opposition, electing Thomas Mulcair as the new leader while challenging the Harper government in national polls.

What is the legacy of Jack Layton? What are Albertans saying one year after his passing?
