Calgary Mountaineers are after the Minto Cup

Original Air Date: Friday, August 17, 2012

There's the Stanley Cup and then - there's the Minto Cup, Alberta's top junior lacrosse team, the Calgary Mountaineers, arrives in Ontario where its players will represent our province and battle for the National Junior A Lacrosse Championship.

Alberta has never won a Minto Cup. This team has players from Calgary, Airdrie, Strathmore, Red Deer, and Lethbridge….are they up to the task?

Political Analyst Duane Bratt is behind the bench coaching. We'll ask him to switch to sports commentator tonight. He's with Curtis Pridham, the Mountaineers Captain.
