Is the Play the Thing?

Original Air Date: Wednesday, August 22, 2012

Edmonton’s world-famous Fringe Theatre Festival is the largest in North America and growing every year. Nearly 600,000 people passed through its gates last year, but fewer than one fifth of them watched a play.

Joining us for this discussion is Jill Roszell, the new Executive Director of the Edmonton Fringe Theatre Festival; Paul Matwychuk, Edmonton Theatre Critic and Playwright; and Morgan Smith, an Edmonton Actor and Playwright - and a performer at this year's fringe.
