Original Air Date:
Thursday, August 09, 2012
A study by our very own Donna Wilson looks at the travel required for care during the last year of someone's life. From tests to treatments, the terminally ill are often in and out of hospitals or health centres, and drive long distances to get there.
With us on the Health Panel are Dr. Donna Wilson, Researcher and Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta; Dr. Ganz Ferrance, Registered Psychologist; and Dr. Peter Nieman, Pediatrician.
