AHS Spending Scandal

AHS, the health minister and the Alberta government are dealing with revelations of lavish dinner and car expenses by AHS Chief Financial Officer Allaudin Merali. Those expenses were approved by former Capital Health Region CEO Sheila Weatherill, who sat on the AHS board until her sudden resignation August 1. Menali has also abruptly resigned.
