Another Pipeline Spill under Enbridge’s Belt

Another pipeline spill, another clean up. Adding to its already delicate situation - Enbridge is trying to determine what caused a pipeline to leak in Wisconsin spilling more than 1,000 barrels of oil.

This latest spill comes as Enbridge tries to win approval for its contentious Northern Gateway pipeline and almost two years to the day after its pipeline spilled more than 20,000 barrels into the Kalamazoo River in Michigan.

How does this latest spill impact Enbridge’s reputation? Why have we been seeing a series of spills of late and how was it so quickly contained?
