Workplace Safety in Alberta

Alberta’s Auditor General says the province is doing poorly at identifying companies with the worst safety records. That, in a report following up on a two-year old recommendation to crack down on high-risk employers.
Critics of the idea say it may be unfair to employers and that government should focus more on educating workers, not shaming their bosses.
