When Calgary first adopted the “10 year Plan to End Homelessness” in 2008, there were approximately 3500 homeless people in the city. The Calgary Homeless Foundation counted again in January, and will be releasing the new numbers soon.What is the state of Homelessness in Alberta cities? How has that number changed since 2008? Joining us for this discussion is Jay Freeman, Executive Director of the Edmonton Homeless Commission; and Tim Richter, CEO of the Calgary Homeless Foundation.
